Configure dashboards, alerts, and reporting tools to meet operational and compliance requirements. Monitor system updates and implement new features following quarterly releases. Installs and Deinstalls Coordinate and oversee the installation and removal of hardware and associated telematics equipment across the fleet. Ensure all installs and deinstalls are documented, scheduled efficiently, and carried out in line with compliance and safety standards. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to minimise downtime during equipment changes. System Uptime & Issue Resolution Ensure the telematics/camera system is fully operational at all times, proactively monitoring for faults or disruptions. Respond quickly to any system downtime or technical issues, implementing immediate corrective actions to restore functionality. Work closely with the supplier to resolve problems and prevent recurrence, maintaining business continuity. Data Integrity & Reporting Ensure data accuracy across the platform and related fleet systems. Analyse trends to identify risk areas and recommend corrective actions. Training & Support Deliver familiarisation sessions and provide user guides for Webfleet functionality. Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and liaise with the supplier for escalations. Continuous Improvement Collaborate with Fleet leadership to identify technology enhancements and process improvements. Channel feedback to the supplier for custom feature requests. JOB OBJECTIVE The Junior Plant & Tooling Maintenance Technician will support the workshop team in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of tools and plant equipment used within the Telecoms and Energy sectors.
