This is a key leadership position, acting as the shift-in-command, responsible for overseeing a team of 3 Supervisors and managing a workforce of 45 operatives across 4 active cleaning contracts within the airport. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong time management, the ability to prioritise tasks, and remain calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment. Regularly checking and responding to emails is essential to ensure accurate shift planning, manage contingency requirements, and maintain effective communication with management and stakeholders.     The role will be responsible for operating the key recycling solutions across the site as part of the Mitie team working in the on-site material recovery facility. Engaging with and working collaboratively with colleagues from across various Kew Gardens departments and delivering on Kew Gardens environmental objectives whilst proactively managing all waste activities on site.
