    Migrant Help have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Team Leader to join our team on a full time, fixed term until 1 December 2025 (with potential to be extended or made permanent) basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,753 per annum. The Team Leader role: Part of the Eligibility, Advice and Guidance (EAGL) team, the Tier 2 Team Leader is a dynamic and supportive role at Migrant Help. The Helpline plays an integral part in the charities work with the Home Office; providing advice, guidance, and support via the telephone and webchat helpline services. Key responsibilities of our Team Leader: Undertake department specific duties to ensure smooth running of the Helpline, including answering adviser s queries, monitoring relevant inboxes and reacting to changes in service demand, delegating work appropriately and ensuring delivery of service Assist advisers with complex safeguarding cases from our most vulnerable clients who have and are experiencing displacement, exploitation and significant trauma and raising concerns with the relevant authorities Motivate the team to work effectively and to a high standard, monitoring compliance in line with all applicable and regulatory requirements, polices and processes by completing supervision meetings, 1-2-1s, call reviews, team briefings and appraisals Effectively manage change and lead by example Prioritise duties and responsibilities with the agility to manage conflicting tasks Continuously support advisers to reach their full potential, providing timely feedback and effective coaching to improve skills, increase efficiency and identify any gaps in training and development needs. Ensure mandatory training is kept up to date Monitor performance to ensure that target guidelines are achieved, working collaboratively to achieve organisational targets and KPI s using supportive framework when required Absence manage attendance in accordance with our absence management policy The experience and skills you need to become our Team Leader: Substantial experience of coaching, developing and managing others in their work Experience in working with multiple KPI s and motivating others to meet these targets Skilled at working under pressure and meeting deadlines The ability to network with both internal and external stakeholders Exceptional verbal and written communication skills An effective listener and the ability to empathise and show These are some of the benefits we offer: Our working week is 35 hours per week offering flexibility and work life balance Enhanced family friendly provisions Employees will gain an extra day annual leave per year to a maximum of 39 days, including bank holidays (pro-rata). The Quality Officer - Modern Slavery Services role: Part of the Quality team, the MDS Quality Officer is an invaluable and exciting role at Migrant Help. You will ensure compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements for the Modern Slavery victim support teams. This includes carrying out regular quality assurance checks to verify procedures are effective and are adhered to at all times. You will be expected to work closely with operational and support services teams to ensure the quality of service provided to our clients, as well as conformance to contract key performance indicators. There is a requirement to drive improvements and implement solutions where a shortfall in compliance or quality is observed. Key responsibilities of our Quality Officer - Modern Slavery Services: Carry out internal audits as required, including planning, auditing and report writing. To take responsibility for ensuring timely completion of quality assessments and audits, working with colleagues and partners to develop a strong and efficient audit plan. Work with the MDS (Modern Day Slavery) teams to ensure our clients receive accurate support, advice and guidance, delivered with empathy and kindness. Develop performance monitoring processes across various teams, helping to develop quality scorecards and quality assurance processes. Ensuring the continuous effectiveness of the operational Quality Frameworks and procedures Provide information and reports to the Management Team outlining quality assessment trends, non-conformities, risks and opportunities for improvement. Identify root causes of any non-conformances and create improvement plans to ensure non-conformances are addressed and rectified. Work within the organisation s ISO frameworks to ensure adherence to ISO standards. To collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure audits and assessments are planned and executed correctly. The skills and abilities you need: A good understanding of the current Modern Slavery environment in the UK Experience of quality assurance checks or assessments Experience of creating and understanding reports and spreadsheets, as well as the ability to present findings and trends Ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of colleagues Experience of client outcomes assessments and the subsequent analysis of information. You will be joining us on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract,  and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £ 28,639 increasing to £32,612 following successful completion of a 6 months probation period. This is a home-based role covering London and surrounding areas. The Outreach Adviser role: The successful candidate will be client focused and an excellent listener, have demonstrable experience working with people in sensitive and emotionally demanding situations and be passionate about protecting our vulnerable clients. The post holder will support our national Asylum Services to support our most vulnerable asylum seekers across the UK through a mixture of telephone and face to face advice. The post-holder will be expected to attend whenever reasonably practicable Undertake any other duties which may be assigned from time to time and may include cover for other funded projects.
