About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner who will assume the role of Early Years Special Educational Needs Coordinator at our beautiful Meadow Nursery in Blackpool This role is for 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9.00am to 3.00pm) The Early Years SENCO role is for a Level 3 or above practitioner. This role ensures the best possible educational outcomes are achieved for children with special educational needs and disabilities. The Early Years SENCO role involves four key themes below: • ensuring all practitioners in the setting understand their responsibilities to children with SEN and the setting's approach to identifying and meeting SEN • advising and supporting colleagues • ensuring parents are closely involved throughout and that their insights inform action taken by the setting, and • liaising with professionals or agencies beyond the setting About Meadow Nursery  Meadow Nursery is a vibrant, nurturing setting based on the outskirts of Blackpool town centre on Whitegate drive. Our building has a total of 3 garden spaces.

    Stepping Stones Nursery, proudly rated as “Good” by Ofsted, has a capacity of 57 children and has been part of the MiChild Family since 2020.     About Meadow Nursery Meadow Nursery is a vibrant, nurturing setting based on the outskirts of Blackpool town centre on Whitegate drive. With excellent public transport links and free onsite parking, we're easy to get to whether you drive or take public transport. Our setting includes four well-equipped rooms, each tailored to a specific age group and led by a team trained specifically for that developmental stage, we support our team to feel confident within the age group they work with and support training needs. We also have a spacious outdoor garden spaces that are thoughtfully separated to suit different age groups, ensuring safe and enriching outdoor play for all. Our building has a total of 3 garden spaces.
    We're especially proud of our dedicated preschool room, where children prepare for their school transition together in a supportive, structured environment.
