    This role will be responsible for delivering one of the key objectives in the Care & Support Strategic Plan /28. The objectivedelivering supported housing fit for the future states that we will invest in existing suitable stock, build new supported housing and Later Living homes and sell properties that are not fit for purpose. The role will primarily entail being responsible for and making recommendations on investment, refurbishments and disposal (ensuring that asset decisions are measured against strategic priorities, performance and opportunity). Experience of analysing property asset management data and managing capital works projects are essential. Responsibilities: To oversee a programme of disposals, refurbishments and developments on behalf of the Customer Services Directorate. This includes Care & Support and Community Investment.Critically analyse asset data alongside suitability criteria to inform investment and disposal decisions.Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders including the Development, Property and Regeneration Directorates, as well as external stakeholders such as the GLA and Homes England.Develop business cases and grant applications to secure capital funding for projects and thereafter, lead on their implementation.Lead project teams to ensure the successful progression of a pipeline of short/medium/long term schemes and opportunities. Personal Competencies Strong commitment to delivering high standards of service quality, commercial performance and accommodation standards.Ability to lead on multiple and complex projects.Driven to achieve success and contribute to meeting key strategic priorities. Skills / Experience / Knowledge Extensive experience of managing complex programmes including regeneration, development and major refurbishment for a Housing Association or Local Authority. MTVH are currently seeking a diligent and qualified professional to join our Compliance Services team, operating within the Property Directorate. This is a crucial role that will involve conducting fire risk assessments, audits, inspections and surveys across our housing stock, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and minimising risk. We are looking to recruit Fire Risk Assessors to carry out assessments on a Type 1, 2 and 3 buildings. The role will involve: Being primarily responsible for providing and delivering % compliance for Fire Risk Assessments across the MTVH property portfolio.Working as part of a team of Fire Risk Assessors, utilising an excellent knowledge of the FRA process to view fire risk holistically and ensure that risk is identified and communicated accurately.Being responsible for ensuring suitable and accurate remedial works are identified and communicated in assessments, and that they align with the timeframes recommended in the MTVH FRA Process documents.Where required, being responsible for providing technical fire safety advice to colleagues across the organisation and being a point of contact for external organisations in relation to fire safety. To Succeed you will need: The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with a clear understanding of the Regulatory reform Fire Safety Order and relevant fire safety legislation and guidance documents with some experience gained in housing. You must have excellent communication skills and have an ability to communicate fire risk and good fire safety practise to all relevant persons. Must hold Tier 2 accreditation via IFSM as a minimum (or be willing to obtain prior to employment)Hold a valid nationally recognised fire safety qualifications such as - NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management, Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) or similar.A recognised minimum grade 3 qualification within fire risk assessment such as the FPA, IFE or similar or registered by a competent body for FRA.Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the fire safety industry.Experience of carrying out FRA's in social housing To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers, this role requires a Basic check with the Disclosure and Barring Service once an offer of employment is made.
