You will shape how Methods communicates its value, supports business growth, and showcases its transformation expertise through pre-sales activity, thought leadership, and high-impact marketing content.You will collaborate closely with Delivery, Sales, and Marketing to translate our work into clear, compelling, and outcome-focused narratives. This includes designing persuasive bid responses, presentations, and strategic content that resonate with clients and articulate the measurable impact Methods delivers.You will also drive the evolution of our service offerings, ensuring they remain aligned with changing client priorities, industry best practice, and emerging technologies across IT operations, service management, automation, and digital service excellence.As the senior technical authority for your domain, you will anticipate market trends, define the future skills required within the discipline, and guide Methods’ strategic direction. They will apply analytical and problem-solving tools to assess situations and understand problems, eliciting, analysing, validating, and gaining consensus on business requirements and user stories. The role will involve leading business analysts in small to medium sized projects and supporting the analysis of more complex transformations. They will be responsible for leading a variety of business analysis tasks, working independently to deliver the required outputs, manging stakeholder relationships, and developing others through sharing best practice and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have experience applying business analysis skills in digital transformations across a number of different styles of transformation.  They will have experience and knowledge underpinned by the tailored use of several frameworks and methodologies to perform as an effective analyst. In addition to business analysis skills, they will have experience in how emerging technologies and innovation can benefit the delivery of improved public services. The role will be home based and will include work on client sites.  It is expected that the Senior Business Analyst will quickly acquire an understanding of Methods Portfolio offering to work effectively for our clients. Data Ingestion & Log Pipeline Engineering:
    Build, manage and optimise complex Logstash pipelines, utilising a wide range of plugins to handle diverse log formats, transform data, and enrich security telemetry. Ensure reliable ingestion of logs from both structured and unstructured sources into Elasticsearch. Syslog Configuration:
    Configure, manage rsyslog and configure centralised logging for network appliances, firewalls, and infrastructure components to ensure visibility and completeness of data collection. Linux Proficiency:
    Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, with command-line fluency and scripting ability (e.g. Bash, Python) to support SIEM operations, log parsing, and agent deployment. Detection Engineering & Threat Rules:
    Develop and tune custom detection rules using ESQL, EQL, and Lucene syntax to identify malicious activity.
