Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join our successful and growing branch based in Rochdale , supporting a busy temporary desk with a strong focus on industrial, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing roles across the Rochdale area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys running their own desk, developing new business and delivering a high-volume, high-quality temp solution. The Role This is a permanent, full-time position , working Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm . Youll manage the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to grow and maintain a profitable temporary desk. Key responsibilities include: Sourcing and placing candidates into temporary assignments across industrial and logistics environments Managing all branch enquiries via phone and email from both clients and candidates Weekly payroll responsibility for 40+ temporary workers Writing and posting engaging job adverts across job boards and internal platforms Conducting telephone screens, face-to-face and WhatsApp video registrations Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular contact and on-site visits Negotiating rates and terms with both clients and candidates Generating new business using sales, business development, marketing and networking techniques Identifying leads and converting them into sales opportunities Arranging and attending client meetings to present Meridians recruitment solutions Keeping CRM records fully up to date and compliant Understanding market trends, margins and competitor activity to maximise performance Achieving KPIs and contributing positively to the wider branch success Your own transport is essential due to regular client visits. Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure continuity of care. Support safeguarding processes and promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect throughout the home. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager within a nursing or residential care setting. Active NMC registration and relevant post-registration experience. A strong understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance requirements. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support teams. Experience conducting clinical audits and driving quality improvements. Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and referral pathways. The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
