Staircase Fitter and Installer We are GSF Stairs, a renowned family run designer, manufacturer and installer of specialist and bespoke staircases across the South of the UK. Our lovely workshop is based in the Hampshire countryside at Pensdell Farm, Basingstoke, on the Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire borders. We are a small family joinery business that has been trading since 1992. We are dedicated to the delivery of the highest quality custom staircases tailored to the individual needs and style preferences of our clients. The business is growing, and the team is further expanding, and we are looking for someone to come and join us to continue to provide high quality service and expertise to our customers.
Weekly tasks will include: The main task will be the installation and assembly of staircases Making 1st fix carpentry alterations on client site in preparation for new staircase installation Make 2nd fix carpentry alterations and additions to finish of installations Staircase refurbishment and modernisation Ensuring customer sites are kept tidy and ensuring that we are not adding to any mess created through building or renovating
To be eligible for this role, you must have: Proven experience in staircase installation and refurbishment. Experience installing balustrades and other staircase components (including glass and metal) Experience with 1stand 2nd fixes, finishing to a high standard. The ability to work to deadlines and specifications. Good communication and teamwork skills Be highly organised and punctual. Your own tools Full clean driving licence
In return, we offer: Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 pa Full-time, Permanent 7:30am
