    Key Responsibilities
    The Sonographer will work autonomously as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality ultrasound services in line with RCOG and BMUS standards.
    Your responsibilities will include:
    * Performing obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scans, including first trimester, anomaly, growth, and early pregnancy assessments.
    * Independently producing diagnostic reports and providing findings directly to referring clinicians.
    * Adapting techniques to individual patient needs, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
    * Undertaking antenatal screening (including NT and anomaly scans), providing pre- and post-test counselling where required.
    * Managing sensitive and complex cases, including counselling women and families in cases of fetal abnormality or pregnancy loss.
    * Supervising and supporting student sonographers, radiographers, or midwives in training, ensuring high standards of clinical education.
    * Maintaining accurate records in line with professional and NHS standards.
    * Participating in audit, quality assurance and service evaluation to maintain and improve standards.
    * Ensuring safe use of ultrasound equipment and contributing to infection control and departmental safety practices.

    Essential Requirements
    * HCPC registration (Sonographer or Midwife Sonographer).
    * Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Obstetric & Gynaecology Ultrasound.
    * Minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience in obstetric ultrasound.
    * Demonstrated ability to perform and report scans independently.
    * Evidence of DQASS cycles in line with first trimester screening.
    * Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver sensitive information empathetically.
    * Knowledge of RCOG guidelines and departmental ultrasound protocols.
    * Up-to-date CPD portfolio with evidence of recent study days or training.

    Desirable Skills
    * Experience in fetal medicine, twins, and early pregnancy assessment.
    * Experience working across multiple ultrasound systems and settings (NHS or private).
    * Proven ability to mentor or train junior staff.
    * Audit, research, or quality improvement experience.

    Key Responsibilities
    As a CT Radiographer, you will:

    Mediplacements are seeking multiple experienced Reporting Radiographers to support diagnostic services in London through a 3-month (extendable) contract. You will play a key role in clearing imaging backlogs and ensuring timely, accurate patient diagnoses.

    These roles offer flexible working arrangements - remote, hybrid, or on-site - with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

    Role Overview
    Depending on your speciality you will provide independent, high-quality reports across your area of expertise. Caseloads will reflect core NHS demand, including:
    * General X-ray: chest, abdominal, trauma, and musculoskeletal plain films.
    * CT: head, chest/abdomen/pelvis, oncology, neuro, and trauma imaging.
    * MRI: musculoskeletal, neuro, and body imaging.

    Day Rates
    * General X-ray Reporting: £450 - £600 per day
    * Specialist CT / MRI Reporting: £750 + per day
    * Optional per-scan models available for backlog clearance (e.g. £2-£3 per X-ray e.c.t)

    Key Responsibilities
    * Independently report diagnostic images within your certified specialty.
    * Deliver accurate reports in line with national standards and local protocols.
    * Collaborate with radiologists and referrers, escalating complex or critical cases.
    * Contribute directly to reducing waiting list backlogs while maintaining quality.
    Candidate Requirements
    * HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer (essential).
    * Postgraduate certificate / advanced practice qualification in image reporting (e.g. PgCert in Clinical Reporting).
    * Minimum 2 years' independent reporting experience in relevant modality.
    * Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and ability to work securely via remote access (diagnostic-grade workstation required for remote roles; support can be provided).
    * Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously while escalating appropriately.
    * Flexibility to work full-time or sessional hours, including evenings or weekends.
