    About the role:
    Due to a new contract win of kitchens with a new customer we are seeking an Electrician to join our team in Aberdeen. The main duties will include inspection and testing, consuming changes, wiring new sockets on face plate changes and fitting 3 kitchens per week. This will take place within our tenanted properties across Angus and Dundee.
    To carry out a range of electrical work to our clients housing stock to ensure that electrical Installations which are worked on are safe for continued use to safeguard the service users, members of the public, clients' personnel and Mears employees from any potential danger associated with electricity.
    What are we looking for?
    City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 AM2 18th Edition 2391 Testing and Inspection Experience working within social housing and kitchens Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexible working approach Full UK driving license
    All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

    Electrical Duties:
    Responsible for reactive repairs to lighting circuits, sockets, fuseboards and other electrical systems Inspect and test electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Replace or repair faulty components such as switches, outlets, light fittings and circuit breakers Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily repair targets Communicate clearly with tenants or residents about the nature of the repair and expected outcomes Ensure work areas are left clean and safe after completing repairs Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures Provide high levels of customer care at all times Respond to emergency call outs when required, including out of hours shifts if applicable To undertake installation, service, repair, and maintenance of a broad range of domestic properties Use relevant IT systems to Manage and prioritise workload to complete repairs in a timely manner
