This is a fully office-based position, providing the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues and build long-standing relationships with clients. The successful candidate will manage their own varied private client caseload from instruction through to completion, advising individuals and families on a broad range of private client matters. The Role You will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, including: Drafting Wills and providing estate planning advice. Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney. Managing probate matters and estate administration from initial instruction through to final distribution. Advising clients in relation to trust administration. Assisting with tax planning and wealth preservation matters. Handling Court of Protection work. Advising a broad client base, including families, elderly clients and high-net-worth individuals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, professional contacts and third parties. Drafting legal documentation and correspondence accurately and efficiently. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Meeting billing, time recording and performance objectives. Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the continued success of the department. Assisting with business development initiatives and helping to strengthen existing client relationships. About You Qualified (PQE) Solicitor with experience specialising in Private Client matters. Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of private client work, including Wills, probate, estate administration, LPAs, trusts and Court of Protection matters. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to client care. Ability to manage an independent caseload effectively and prioritise competing demands. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Commercial awareness and an understanding of the importance of building and maintaining client relationships. STEP qualification, or working towards STEP accreditation, would be advantageous but is not essential. A collaborative team player who values professionalism and high standards of service delivery.
