Runbook Project Analyst Wealth Management
London (Hybrid) | Outside IR35 | Immediate start
We are supporting a leading UK wealth management business with the urgent appointment of an experienced Runbook Project Analyst for a major integration and migration programme.
This is a critical, hands-on role responsible for taking ownership of the programmes established master runbooks and coordinating their execution across a complex migration weekend.
Comprehensive, professionally developed runbooks are already in place, so this is not primarily a runbook design or documentation role. The successful candidate will need to understand the runbooks quickly, challenge and validate the sequencing and dependencies, and act as the central point of coordination across technology, data, operations and business teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of the established master migration runbooks
Reviewing and understanding complex task sequencing, dependencies, checkpoints and contingency actions
Coordinating the execution of runbooks across dress rehearsals and the live migration
Monitoring activities, milestones and dependencies in real time
Giving clear direction on when tasks should start, pause or stop
Identifying delays, risks or conflicts and driving swift resolution
Managing escalation routes, checkpoint meetings and communications
Ensuring rollback and contingency activities are understood and ready
Maintaining accurate reporting throughout rehearsals, migration and post-migration support
Providing clear and timely updates to senior programme stakeholders
We are looking for someone with:
Deep, hands-on experience managing and executing complex programme runbooks
A strong background in migration, cutover or implementation events
An excellent understanding of technology and data migrations
Experience within wealth management, investment management or wider financial services
The ability to absorb complex information and dependencies quickly
A calm, decisive and highly organised approach under pressure
The confidence to coordinate and direct senior, technical and operational stakeholders
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Personality and team fit are particularly important. You will need to be approachable, collaborative and able to build strong relationships quickly, while remaining confident and firm when coordinating activity during critical migration periods.
This is an urgent requirement, and the successful candidate must be available to start within two weeks, ideally sooner.
If you are a genuine runbook specialist with experience supporting complex migration events and are immediately available, we would be very interested in speaking with you.
