    A well-established software company is looking for a Software Tester to join their testing team. The business develops and maintains software products for clients across multiple sectors, working to regular release cycles in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The team is busy and growing, and this is a hire being made to strengthen testing capacity and bring in someone who can contribute from day one.
    The role is a mix of manual and automated testing. You will be maintaining and contributing to existing automated test suites as well as learning the company's products and client systems and carrying out manual testing across releases. Automation experience is essential, but the specific tool matters less than the ability to apply it. The team primarily uses Cypress and Selenium, and candidates with experience in other frameworks such as Playwright are equally welcome.
    What you will be doing:Maintaining and updating automated test suites, keeping them current as products and releases evolveDesigning and executing manual test cases across functional and regression testingRaising, detailing, and tracking defects through to resolution using Azure DevOpsReading specs and requirements to create test plans and test casesWorking to tight release deadlines and managing your workload to prioritise effectivelyLearning client products and systems and developing a strong understanding of how changes impact testing across the board
