Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator to take ownership of day‑to‑day administrative tasks, office coordination, and practical support across the business. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, maintaining smooth office operations, and providing reliable support to managers and the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Tasks
Manage filing systems, ensuring both digital and paper documents are stored, organised, and easy to accessPrepare letters, reports, templates, and general documentation to a professional standardHandle printing, scanning, photocopying, and binding tasks as requiredMaintain structured office filing systems and ensure documentation stays up to dateSupport general admin workflows including updating simple logs, processing documents, and keeping paperwork organised
Office Support Tasks
Collect, sort, and distribute incoming postPrepare outgoing post, parcels, and courier itemsTake packages to the post office or courier drop‑off when neededCarry out light office errands to support smooth day‑to‑day operationsMonitor office supplies including printer paper, ink, stationery, and shared resources, arranging replenishment when necessary
Day‑to‑Day Practical Responsibilities
Collect or pick up lunch for meetings or managers when requiredReset and tidy meeting rooms after useEmpty office bins and maintain tidy shared areasCarry out occasional light cleaning such as hoovering or wiping surfacesWipe down desks, kitchen counters, and communal areasLoad and unload the dishwasher and ensure kitchen areas are kept presentableRestock refreshments including tea, coffee, milk, and snacks
Organisation & Team Support
Prepare meeting packs, printed documents, agendas, and materials ahead of internal and client meetingsSet up desks for new starters — chairs, screens, stationery, refreshments, and initial welcome setupProvide practical support to managers with simple tasks, errands, and ad‑hoc adminEnsure a professional, organised, and well‑run office environment
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based roleStrong organisational skills and attention to detailGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and basic digital filingAbility to work independently and prioritise tasksProfessional communication skills and a proactive, helpful approachComfortable supporting a busy office environment and taking initiative
