And though our skillsets are wide and our process knowledge is deep, we are all still learning every day. The Part You’ll Play…  McCann is on the lookout for a creative, driven and enthusiastic Marketing Manager with a growth mindset to join our Growth team, covering several of our UK agencies. The candidate will play a key role in scaling our business and be responsible for leading and managing all our content creation and marketing initiatives to help achieve our annual growth objectives. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Growth team to drive new opportunities in key areas including Creative/Advertising, Social, Media, PR and more. 
     
    The role requires someone who can bring strategic thinking, creativity, and strong writing and project management skills to the table. You should have a solid grasp of the marketing industry and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams across the UK, to drive results.  
    What You’ll Do… Lead the strategy and marketing plan in alignment with our Growth targets, key sectors and key capabilities.  Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that activity across our offices is unified Work with Business Development Directors to create tailored content that align with our audiences (prospects / brands / intermediaries), and ensure everything we create is engaging and effectiveCreate compelling and relevant content: Lead the content creation of a variety of marketing assets/ materials, including (but not limited to) thought leadership, podcasts, newsletters, case studies, marketing/prospect campaigns, social media content, website, events, mailers and much moreCoordinate with the marketing team and internal teams like designers and videographers to bring your ideas and content to life. Build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business to discover thought leadership opportunities and stories of interest, and collaborate on content Manage budgets and timelines to keep projects on track Measure & Improve: Stay on top of industry trends to keep our marketing / content fresh, relevant and innovative. Track the success of campaigns and share results with the team.  Manage and maintain our martech stack for client and prospect data, engagement and measurement, ensuring our tools are working effectively Work with and build relationships with key industry partners 
    As Marketing Manager You’ll Bring… Minimum requirements: Previous experience in PR, Marketing or Communications Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the business Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and convey marketing messages Strong creative thinking and problem solving skills Sharp eye for detail and can work to deadlines Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong research skills - lateral thinking and internet savvy Working knowledge of social media platforms Dynamic with a creative flair Personable and able to build relationships quickly

    In summary, as Managing Partner, you’ll: Have a background in recognised integrated agencies, working on high-profile accounts. Bring brilliant integrated marketing experience, with an ability to shape campaigns that work across all touchpoints. Be someone clients instantly warm to, with an ability to quickly establish rapport, trust and collaborative relationships. Lead by example, inspiring and motivating your team (& wider agency teams) to deliver better and more effective work. Build strong relationships internally & externally, founded on trust, honesty and that desire to make clients famous within their markets. Own the day-to-day, ensuring the smooth & profitable running of accounts. Have a curious mindset that’s always looking for ways to improve what we’re doing and to seek opportunities to expand the remit of activity with clients, with a holistic view across all marketing channels. Take a partnership approach to developing mutually profitable, long-term client relationships. Demonstrate a good strategic capability with the ability to interrogate opportunities and present thinking with clarity. Know how to take a brief, shape it with our planning team & ensure that the creative team nail the execution.
