    Job Overview
    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background to contribute to a dynamic working environment.

    Duties

    Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
    Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs promptly
    Use hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
    Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
    Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required
    Ensure all work complies with safety standards and organisational policies
    Collaborate with team members to optimise maintenance procedures and minimise downtime

    Experience

    Proven experience working as a mechanic or in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing setting
    Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with various machinery types and systems
    Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
    Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
    Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
    Prior experience with preventative maintenance programmes is advantageous

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: £30,000.00-£42,345.24 per year
