Accounts Payable Receivable Manager Location: Central London Contract: 9-Month Fixed Term Industry: Consumer Retail We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Receivable Manager to join a leading consumer retail business in Central London on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end AP and AR functions, driving operational excellence, and supporting strategic finance initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams, ensuring high performance and accountability. Monitor and improve KPIs to reduce aged debt and enhance cash flow efficiency. Oversee the working capital cycle, ensuring timely and policy-compliant order release decisions. Deliver accurate monthly reporting on AP/AR performance and cash flow forecasting, including variance analysis. Maintain the integrity of customer master data and conduct timely credit risk assessments. Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, automation, and enhanced internal controls. Support team development through structured performance reviews, training, and succession planning. What We re Looking For: Proven experience in a senior AP/AR leadership role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong knowledge of SAP, with experience in system upgrades or implementations being highly desirable. Demonstrated success in process improvement, KPI development, and team leadership.
