Skills and experience Key Responsibilities: Complete all online training allocated by the club within the deadlines given. Washing, rinsing, sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This ensures cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors and equipment. Preventing cross-contamination. Ensure food residue is off dishes and kitchen utensils before sorting and loading racks of dirty dishes into a professional dishwashing machine. Sort and return clean plates to their proper storage spot. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and assisting with tasks as needed. Report any maintenance issues, shortages or incidents to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as required by the kitchen’s needs. Adhering to Health and Safety standards by following hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents. Proper disposal of food waste, recycling and general kitchen waste in accordance with hygiene and environmental regulations Requirements: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills and willingness to learn. Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices is a plus. Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.

    Purpose:

    Manchester United Academy are looking for Academy Drivers with a professional background to work alongside a scheduled transport plan, to provide a passenger service for players & staff around the Greater Manchester area and wider UK. The primary role will be to transport players to and from training sessions.

    The Role:

    We are looking for organised drivers, with the ability to work safely and within the rules set out in our Transport Policy. Hours will be flexible and on a casual basis.

    The service is required to provide transport between schools, the training base, match venues and home respectively between the following hours typically:
    Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri – Flexible hours between 05:00 & 09:00, 13.00 & 23:00
    Wed – 07:00-21:00
    Weekends – Requirement dependant on activities.

    The Person:Full, clean driving license, with experience of driving young/multiple passengersExperience of regular driving and also at long distancesQualified to drive 17-seater, 9-seater vehicles (category D1).Relevant MIDAS training or PATS training (Not essential, training will be provided)Flexible to meet the demands of the schedule and can work mornings, evenings and weekends when requiredConfident communicating with colleagues, young people and their familiesWe will complete an Enhanced DBS & complete safeguarding training before employment commencesMaintain high standards of cleanliness for all MU fleet vehiclesDevelop excellent working relationships with staff, players, parents, and other key Manchester United Academy stakeholdersEnsure all travel arrangements are completed and in line with the planned route for the dayComplete daily vehicle checks in line with transport regulations
