You bring your positive attitude and passion for helping others shine.This is a full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm (35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year). You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in up to three weeks of paid training and development during school holidays.You won’t be based in a traditional classroom. Instead, you’ll work out in the community, supporting learners in real-life situations. You’ll help them develop essential life skills like using public transport, ICT, cooking, money management, and independent living. You may also accompany them to college or work experience placements. For us, underlying ability and attitude are just as important as background and experience.If you have not worked in the field of education before then please don’t be put off. We can provide all of the specialist training you need, but we can't train you to be kind, to have initiative, to be friendly and patient; and those are essential qualities for this work.You must be a driver with your own transport, willing and able to travel across the area, supporting young people from their own homes.
