You will be a key leader in our mission to build the world’s most intelligent fashion shopping platform. In this role, you will operate as part of a leadership trio—collaborating closely with Product and Design leads to drive the success of Lyst’s Marketplace.     The Role

    We are seeking an experienced and data driven Paid Media Lead to drive the strategy, execution, and optimisation of our high impact paid marketing channels, with a core focus on Paid Social and App Marketing. This role is central to accelerating customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will be responsible for defining the full funnel paid media strategy, ensuring our campaigns effectively drive both performance and support brand strategic objectives across all stages of the customer journey.

    You will lead by example, mentoring team members and working closely with key internal teams while managing essential external agencies and partners to ensure world-class execution and maximised return on investment.

    Responsibilities:

    Paid Social & App Focus: Own the strategy, execution, and performance of Paid Social and App Marketing campaigns, ensuring maximum efficiency and scale across platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Apple Search, Google UAC).Full-Funnel Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive paid media strategy that addresses all stages of the marketing funnel, from awareness and consideration through to conversion and retention.Performance & Brand Delivery: Balance campaign delivery to achieve both aggressive performance targets (e.g. LTV/CAC) and key brand building goals, ensuring media creative and messaging is consistent with Lyst's brand strategy.Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead day-to-day workstreams, provide technical guidance, and actively mentor junior team members to foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key internal teams including Creative, Product, Engineering, and Analytics to align paid media initiatives, improve tracking, and drive cross-functional projects.Agency & Partner Management: Manage relationships with all relevant external agencies, advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google) and technology partners (e.g. Mobile measurement platforms, Branch tracking agencies) to ensure best-in-class execution, explore new growth opportunities, and optimise return on investment.Budget Ownership: Manage and optimise a substantial paid media budget, overseeing daily pacing, forecasting, and performance analysis, providing clear reporting to senior leadership.Testing & Innovation: Implement a rigorous A/B testing and experimentation framework for creative, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and platform betas to maintain a competitive edge.RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of hands on digital marketing experience, with significant depth in Paid Social and App Marketing, and a proven track record of managing large, global performance oriented campaigns.Demonstrable experience developing strategies that successfully deliver both direct performance and broader brand objectives within a commercial framework.Working experience with mobile measurement platforms (MMPs) like AppsFlyer or Adjust, and a strong understanding of the implications of iOS data privacy regulations (e.g., ATT, SKAdNetwork) and experience navigating solutions in this evolving landscape.Working knowledge of developing measurement frameworks to assess the impact of brand marketing activity on overall performance, including incrementality testing, geo testing, and LTV analysis.Proven ability to coach, mentor, and guide team members, fostering a high performing and results driven environment.Expertise in managing multimillion pound budgets and optimising large scale paid media initiatives for sustained growth and efficiency.Strong experience working with and managing external creative or media agencies, ensuring accountability and high quality output.Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with internal teams such as Creative, Product, and Engineering.In depth, technical understanding of core paid social and app marketing platforms, analytics, and attribution models.Highly analytical with a strategic mindset and comfortable operating in a fast paced, high growth environment.Benefits Our Ways of Working: We all come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely or come into the office on the other days. We need an engineer willing to engage directly with engineers across the business to understand what’s slowing them down, what tooling they’d love to see and how we can best help them to focus on delivering the product at Lyst.
