    Group Financial Controller North Lanarkshire | c£85k + Benefits
    About the Role: Lusona is sourcing a highly motivated and experienced Group Financial Controller for a thriving service sector client. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function, manage a team of ten, and play a pivotal role in the company's strategic growth.
    Key Responsibilities: Financial Leadership: Oversee all aspects of financial and management accounting for six Group companies, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and year-end audits. Strategic Finance: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, manage cash flow, and provide insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions. Operational Involvement: Work closely with the Managing Director on various operational areas, including banking relationships, cash management, and HR. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including external reporting to banks and funders.
    Key Requirements: Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACMA) Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a multi-company environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Advanced Excel skills (essential) Experience with Sage Line 200 (desirable) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Strong leadership and team management abilities

    Interim Finance Business Partner – Glasgow City Centre with Hybrid Working
    Lusona is supporting one of our clients in the Service sector to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and diligent individual with an analytical mind to join their finance business partnering team.
    The Role: As Finance Business Partner your key duties and responsibilities will include: Providing finance support & challenge to the Operations team to drive performance and achieve business targets. Providing insightful analysis to the Leadership team to aid commercial decision-making. Investment appraisal and post-project performance measurement. Identifying and recommending process improvements across the business and working with stakeholders to develop solutions. Generating period results for distribution and presentation to the Management and Operations teams. Producing budgets and forecasts.
    This is a highly commercial role and will require a strong communicator looking to make a difference on a day-to-day basis.
    The Person: The ideal candidate will be confident and personable with the following skills and experience: At least 3 years post-qualified (ICAS/ACCA/CIMA) Proven experience in managing and prioritising a varied workload Application of Financial & Accounting Principles Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-finance employees Financial Modelling and Analysis skills – Proficient in Excel Proactive individual who is eager to learn about the commercial aspects of the business and develop their skill set The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with excellent communication and organisational skills.
