    Lusona Consultancy are proud to be representing our Public Sector client in Glasgow as they recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting time to join our client who have undergone a significant restructure and and the Finance business partner will be a key role in a significant directorate. Our client are based centrally in Glasgow and offer a strong culture with a passion around continuous improvement and adding value to service users.
    This is a permanent post offering a competitive salary of £53,000 - £58,000 per annum with generous holiday and pension scheme on offer. Working on a hybrid basis you will work in the office 3 days as standard with flexible working hours over a 35 hour working week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to get involved in a variety of business projects and develop business wide capabilities.
    The Finance Business Partner is a commercial role, working hand in hand with operational teams. The business partner will identify cost savings across the directorate, explain variances to non-financial stakeholders and create efficiencies across the team and wider business. The Finance business partner will lead discussions with the heads of department on financial planning, analysis, budget management and forecasting to enable the business to make informed decisions across the management team. Your monthly deliverables will include the compilation of a management reporting pack whereby the Finance business partner will bring life behind the numbers and provide strategic advice, guidance and intelligence across financial and non-financial stakeholders.
    This is a critical role in the structure and the Finance business partner will be expected to drive collaboration, new idea generation and change across the team. This is a visible role in the structure and will involve healthy challenge and rigour across a variety of projects and the business partner will support management in the delivery of these projects and associated deadlines. You will be responsible for business case preparation, P&L and budget review and providing extensive analysis on key areas including revenue generation.
    This role would suit a Qualified accountant with experience in a partnering capacity with operations and previous experience if implementing change and process improvement. Communication skills are essential here to work collaboratively with operations and deliver value across the service area.     Lusona Consultancy are Partnering with a renowned Manufacturing company in Ayrshire to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an initial contract basis for 3 months. This interim contract opportunity has arisen due to group structural changes and our client need a strong finance business partner capable of providing insight and guidance across manufacturing and production operations. There is a strong possibility of extension or wider opportunities in the structure for the successful candidate. This role would suit an immediately available candidate or soon to be with strong communication and planning and analysis skills. The role will report to the Finance Director and will be a hybrid role, 4 days in office. Initially daily rate is between £240 - £270 per day depending on experience.
    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance business partner to offer a true business partnering service across end-end Manufacturing operations. This role will act as a liaison between finance and operations, sales and commercial to support manufacturing operations. From Cost breakdowns, margin analysis, manufacturing variances and profitability analysis, the finance business partner will be comfortable in liaising with other departments and bringing substance to the numbers for non-financial stakeholders. You will lead discussions, ensure plans are aligned with the business and ensure there is a strong awareness of cost control measures.
    Our client offer a varied and commercial role with the opportunity to lead discussions and steer performance across a multi-site environment. This role would suit an experienced accountant with strong relationship building skills and business partnering experience. Experience in manufacturing or supply chain would be preferred but non-essential. The key task here is to educate non-financial stakeholders on financial implications of operational decisions.
