  • Job Title: Access and Participation Officer Salary: Commencing at £27,957 with progression to £29,638 per annumClosing Date: 2025-04-22About the Role What You Will Do Support teams to promote access to and progression in higher education (HE) through a variety of online and face-to-face activities, working towards the achievement of the objectives set in the Access and Participation Plans. Support internal relationships to develop, co-ordinate and monitor in person and online information, advice and guidance to support access and participation in HE. Support the HE Student Recruitment team to represent and promote the Luminate Group’s HE pathways to both internal and external UK markets through providing knowledge of access and participation barriers and interventions, and taking a particular lead on community and adult learner engagement. Significantly contribute to the design and development of community outreach, identifying potential partners, conducting background research and leading on prospective communications. Deliver excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers and stakeholders. Contribute to the administration of access and participation activity, including room booking, promotional communications, raising awareness/knowledge exchange, and collation of feedback. Contribute to the development and/or updating of required learning resources and providing key Access and Participation updates to colleagues.
    About You Degree or equivalent qualification or substantial relevant experience. A good understanding of information, advice and guidance issues and barriers to progression to HE for under-represented groups in the UK. Experience of working on outreach and/or student support activity. Experience of working with students Y7-13, parents, teachers and advisors and other external organisations. Knowledge of the schools, further education and higher education sectors, including the variety of qualifications available. Excellent interpersonal skills which can be adapted to meet the needs of students, colleagues and other partners. Excellent organisation skills such as time management, planning, and goal setting.   • Job Title: Sustainability and Performance Coordinator Salary: Commencing at £30,523 with progression to £33,349 per annumClosing Date: 2025-04-16About the Role What You Will Do Provide support including day to day management of the Building Management System (BMS). Act as an internal system super user  for the BMS to ensure it is used to its full potential. Create monthly reports on performance and improvement opportunities  Monitoring and reviewing accuracy of utilities invoices and charges. Support in collating data and completing the annual SECR (Streamlined Energy Carbon Report) spreadsheet for the Group and individual sub-groups. Support in the creation of the internal carbon footprint report and outcomes of progress.   • Job Title: Employee Relations Advisor (Part-Time) Salary: Commencing at £34,347 with progression to £36,437 per annumClosing Date: 2025-04-06About the Role What You Will Do Provide professional ER advice and support to managers and staff on policies, procedures, and best practices. Manage and support employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management, and workplace conflict resolution Ensure compliance with employment legislation, education sector regulations, and organisational policies Support and coach managers in handling ER matters effectively and confidently.   • Job Title: Senior Chef Manager Salary: Commencing at £30,523 with progression to £33,349 per annum.Closing Date: 2025-04-03About the Role What You Will Do Cook and prepare meals and snacks for the café, ensuring menus are innovative and nutritious, current and meet the needs of our customers. Control the budget for the purchasing and ordering of food, achieving GP margins and control other costs associated with the business. Motivate and train the team of Food service assistants to ensure they provide a high-quality service for our customers & students. Accurately record purchasing invoices and manage stock to achieve the budgeted GP. Support other chef managers and staff within the department working at different sites. Responsible for the catering team and manage any staffing issues effectively. Ensure all due diligence, HACCP and allergen legislation & food safety training is adhered to at all times. About You Level 2 Food safety certificate. Relevant experience, knowledge and understanding of cooking in the catering & hospitality sector. Experience of managing a team and supporting them with training and development opportunities. Ability to follow Food Hygiene systems and monitor due diligence records.
