Other information An opportunity has arisen for an experienced paralegal to join our Civil Fraud and Commercial Litigation department. This is a full-time role and will be offered on an initial twelve-month contract.
The successful individual will provide dedicated legal and administrative support on one case.
Tasks may include: Administrative support for hearings and trials including agreeing indices; Preparing bundles; Arranging transcribers; Filing and retrieval of documents; Corresponding with external parties via email or telephone; Logistical support; Drafting research memos on a range of issues; Taking detailed notes at meetings or during conference calls with clients, Counsel and third parties.
Strong communication skills are essential, together with an exceptionally high standard of written and spoken English and fluent Italian.The ideal candidate will have:
A very strong academic background, including a law degree or GDL and the LPC or BPTC; A minimum of one year previous paralegal experience gained within a litigation department; Experience in large complex litigation cases; Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; A proactive and positive approach to work; High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks; Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
