    Job DescriptionJob Title: Head HousekeeperDepartment: HousekeepingReporting To: Resort ManagerPrimary Job Purpose:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Housekeeper to join our team.  The successful Head Housekeeper will ensure high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the resort and contribute to supporting the needs of the guests and clients in order to provide safety and the best guest experience.About The RoleRoles and Responsibilities:To oversee and direct all cleaning activities to ensure high standards are maintained at all timesComplete room inspections and ensure staff are consistent and trained to maintain the high standard expected Ensuring our highest standards of cleanliness and service delivery are provided to all guest rooms, public areas.Ensure all staff have a high standard of personal cleanliness and presentation, and hygiene is maintained. Including the use of Protective Clothing as necessaryTrain and develop all staff to a high standard and resolve any issues with performance effectivelyMonitor payroll costs accordinglyRecruit, maintain and develop a strong team across all food and beverage areas at the resort.Champion a training culture within the team that maintains knowledge and skills within the team and encourages and nurtures talent for succession planning.Ensure all rotas are completed and signed off through the Forth system in line with payroll budgetsStock levels are maintained correctly, and undertake Linen Stocktakes Liaise with reception daily Be aware of all maintenance issues and report to the Maintenance Supervisor or Resort ManagerEnsure good communication with other departments and that you are contactable at all times by radioEnsure that a satisfactory laundry service is maintained & dry stock and consumables are rotated and areas kept clean and tidyStock levels and wastage to be kept to a minimum To undertake any other duties within the department when requiredEnsure that all budgets, targets and deadlines are metComply with all legal requirements in respect of health and safety and welfare of staff and customers, COSHH and Manual handlingTo assist in duty manager duties when required
