As Lead System Safety Engineer, you will help shape the future of Air, Maritime, Land, Cyber, and innovative projects! Lead safety and environmental efforts, ensure compliance, manage risks, and deliver impactful solutions. Be the go-to safety expert for customers and suppliers, driving projects to success on time and within budget.
You will experience a wide range of engineering activities including:Develop Safety and Environmental Management Plans, including sub-contractor/supplier interfacing elements.Conduct Safety and Environmental Assessments such as Preliminary Hazard Analysis, System Hazard Analysis, Sub System Hazard Analysis, Functional Safety Assessment, Occupational and Operating Hazard Analysis, Environmental Impact Screening and Scoping.Derive safety requirements, including functional integrity requirements.Document System level safety and environmental arguments, Safety Cases, Safety Case Reports and Environmental Impact Reports.Review subcontractor safety and environmental documents.Chair Project Safety Committees and supporting Safety Review Meeting and Technical Interface Meetings.Conduct Zonal Safety Assessments and physical safety audits.Demonstrate compliance with legislative requirements.What’s in it for you?To be part of something challenging that gives you a chance to make a difference.Working with a supportive team who wants to see you thrive and grow.The opportunity to learn and help others master new skills.
