The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join the Parameta Solutions Finance team. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy, integrity and transparency of our global financials, with a focus on robust month‑end delivery, strong financial controls, and insightful reporting.You will take ownership of key accounting activities including cash payments, monthly journals, revenue and cost management, and GL reconciliations. You will also work closely with AP, AR, FP&A, Procurement, and wider Finance stakeholders to support operational excellence, streamline processes, and enhance financial governance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings strong technical accounting expertise, and contributes proactively to continuous improvement across the Finance function.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End Close & Core AccountingLead and support the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate posting of all journals.Manage the Fixed Asset Register, including depreciation, impairment reviews and disposals.Oversee accruals, prepayments and internal cost allocations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business activity.Prepare and process tax-related entries, including sales tax and corporate tax.Produce and review monthly GL account reconciliations with full supporting documentation.Manage and approve settlement runs for invoices and expenses.Financial Operations & ControlsHandle ad hoc cash payment requests in line with policy and control requirements.Strengthen and embed internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring reconciliations and substantiation are completed monthly within Trintech or equivalent tools.Partner with Procurement to manage purchase orders, approvals and compliance with financial policies.Work with global Finance colleagues to manage intercompany transactions and ensure accurate month-end reconciliation.Business Partnering & AnalysisCollaborate with the FP&A team to support forecasting, budgeting, and insight generation.Monitor and analyse revenue and cost trends, identifying variances and communicating financial insights to senior stakeholders.Support quarterly, half-year and year-end reporting cycles, including audit requests and disclosure preparation.Continuous ImprovementReview and refine month-end processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation in collaboration with Finance Systems and IT teams.Champion process improvements and contribute to the evolution of Finance best practices.Cross-train with colleagues to ensure resilience, flexibility and shared capability across the team.Experience & CompetenciesEssentialDemonstrable experience managing accruals, prepayments and month-end processes across multiple functions.Demonstrated track record of producing accurate reconciliations and month-end analysis.Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity environments.Excellent organisational skills—ability to prioritise, multitask and deliver to deadlines.Robust verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging at all levels.Highly conscientious, self-driven and resilient with the ability to work independently.Exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of financial control and accuracy.Hands-on mindset, flexible and willing to support wider Finance activities where needed.Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and refine processes accordingly.Experience with system and/or process improvement initiatives.Proven understanding of what a robust financial control environment looks like.DesiredACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy or related discipline.Experience with enterprise systems such as Oracle, Workday Financials, Hubble, Workiva, OneStream and advanced Excel.Job Band & LevelProfessional / 5#PARAMETA #LI-Hybrid #LI-ASONot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
