To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking an Order Checker to ensure our picked products from our warehouse are correct so that we can prepare for these items to be distributed to our customers.This will be working within the Coldstore at our Belle Eau Park depot.Rate of pay: £ per hour, plus £ per week shift allowance.Duties and Responsibilities Review load/batches delivered to verify quantity and type of material.Create and apply labels showing quantity and type of material/product.Report amount of materials and items transported, received, and distributed.Weigh or count items for distribution within the warehouse to determine and ensure we meet company standards and customer expectations.Report damages and claims to management completing inventory control.Process inbound/outbound orders safely and accurately.Loading and unloading vehicles using power pallet trucks.You will do this in a cold environment – approximately minus 25 Celsius – just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE.Who we're looking for:Accuracy is important so someone who likes to get things right first time.Things are heavy so you will need to lift up to 18kg (that’s about 10 bags of sugar).You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.Having some experience loading and unloading vehicles within a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.Why Lineage?We are a global company with more than 22,000 employees spanning 20 countries and more than 400 locations across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America.At Lineage Logistics, we have a shared purpose; we are transforming the food supply chain to eliminate waste and help feed the world. To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Peterborough depot.Shift Available:4 on 4 off working on Nights (start times between 15:00-20:00)Rate of pay: £15.90 per hour, plus a weekly shift allowance of £95.00.Paid weekly.Any hours worked over 39 hours each week will be paid at time and a half.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reportedEnsure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicleCarry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing day-to-day (D2D) transport operations, including depots without transport cover during out-of-hours periods.Reporting GRRs (Goods Received Reports) and addressing exceptions appropriately.Managing HYL invoicing and associated administrative processes.Debriefing drivers to ensure accurate completion of paperwork and electronic data.Completing and monitoring the Status 0 Report for vehicle activity and load status.Tracking and updating Critical Care Trackers to ensure priority loads are managed effectively.Allocating drivers and monitoring their daily activity including route progress, delays, and unauthorised stops.Managing agency driver bookings, monitoring spend, and ensuring accurate documentation.Monitoring and recording driver infringements, ensuring they are understood and signed.Supporting driver training on electronic pads and company systems.Booking vehicle inspections, servicing and MOTs both internally and externally.Reporting vehicle defects, RTAs, and near misses.Ordering and managing site fuel levels.Collaborating with peers across the wider transport network to ensure high service levels.Who We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a proactive, organised individual with experience in transport operations and night shift supervision.
