This role combines spiral production and relief warehouse duties, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety and a dynamic workday.Key ResponsibilitiesSpiral Operative DutiesOperate the Spiral Forming machine to produce high-quality spirally wound tube to specification.Ensure lock seams are tight, and all products are finished safely and within tolerance.Maintain adequate stock of standard sizes and communicate with the Sales Office / Branch Manager regarding special orders and project needs.Relief Warehouse Operative DutiesReceive and process goods in/out, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or collection.Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.Safely operate warehouse equipment (manual handling, pallet trucks, forklifts where trained).Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe, following all Health & Safety protocols.RequirementsWarehouse Experience: Prior experience with goods in/out, stock management, or order fulfilment.Spiral Production Knowledge. Experience with machine operation or light manufacturing. Full training will be provided on the Spiral Forming machine.Physical Fitness: Able to lift up to 18kg and perform physically demanding tasks safely.Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and focus when picking, packing, or producing materials.Tech-Savvy: Confident using mobile delivery systems or handheld devices.Health & Safety Awareness: Understanding of safe manual handling and PPE requirements.Forklift License (Desirable): Reach or Counterbalance certification preferred, or willingness to train.
