    This role presents an exciting opportunity to join Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.   As the EPR Communications and Engagement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Trust’s largest programme of digitally enabled transformation to date – the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Acceleration Programme. This programme will transform the way care is delivered, aligning acute and community services and improving integration with health and care partners across south-east London. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for leading the communications and engagement strategy for the EPR Programme, from initial planning and readiness through to launch and implementation. Working closely with senior managers, the EPR programme team and IT colleagues, they will develop high-quality, accessible content tailored to a wide range of audiences, including staff, clinicians, patients, the public and system partners. They will serve as the primary point of contact for EPR communications and engagement, ensuring that complex and sensitive information is conveyed effectively across various channels, including written content, digital platforms, video, and social media. In addition, the post holder will provide strategic communications support to the Trust’s IT department, helping to deliver clear, timely messaging around infrastructure updates, downtime, and related projects. This will involve benchmarking current practices, horizon scanning and learning from other Trusts, as well as commissioning and producing impactful communications materials. The role requires building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring colleagues are engaged and supported through change, and leading activities such as stakeholder engagement, governance reporting, and reference group management. The post holder will work closely with the Creative Team to develop campaigns and assets, manage third-party suppliers, and oversee budget allocations related to communications activity. They will also play a proactive role in media relations, responding to enquiries and promoting the programme externally where appropriate. Central to the role is the ongoing evaluation of communications effectiveness, with a commitment to adapting approaches based on feedback and analytics. To coordinate specialist inter-Trust Multidisciplinary Team meetings (SMDT) held via videoconferencing and provide administrative support. To collect and register all patients diagnosed with cancer using Trust’s Cancer Information System. To track all patients referred with an urgent, suspected cancer and all patients with a positive diagnosis of cancer at Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust. Ensure all cancer patients with a potential to breach the two-week wait, 31 and 62 day cancer waiting time targets are identified and presented at the respective multi-disciplinary team meetings. Manage individual pathways within the MDT forum to ensure delays are minimized or eradicated. Develop good communication channels with the Cancer Centre. Main Responsibilities: Co-ordinate the list of patients identified to be discussed at the Trust/Specialist Multi-disciplinary Team meetings. This may involve identifying and adding incidental findings to the list, checking pathology results /reports checking admission list, chemotherapy data and palliative care reports. Add cancer waiting time dates in the list to ensure all MDT members are informed about the patient pathway dates. Provide cover for other MDT coordinators in any leave of absence. Track all patients referred with an urgent, suspected cancer and all patients with a positive diagnosis of cancer using referrals, pathology and inpatient reports, and MDT lists. Prospectively monitor the patient journey times for all patients in the above categories. Record audit quality treatment data for Cancer Reform Strategy, Thames Cancer Registry and National Audits. Follow Trust’s data collection protocol. Support the Cancer teams in retrieving all missing data to ensure data is complete, correct, consistent and secure. Ensure any Inter-trust transfers (ITT) are sent within 38 days and tracking of patients at external trusts is carried out in line with cancer targets. Any breaches are recorded with a breach reason and a breach analysis is produced. Ensure all information is available to all relevant members (secretaries, mangers and booking clerks) to ensure national targets are met. Highlight capacity issues to Trust’s management team. Escalate any delays to the relevant parties Highlight any problems and propose changes to the Trust’s management team. Ensure patients notes are correctly tracked and made available to the MDM and are tracked back to the relevant people. An exciting senior radiographer position has arisen to support and lead further developments in relation to education, upskilling and people development within our busy radiography department. This post is responsible for overseeing the development of strategic people and pathway development within General Imaging areas including Plain Film Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Dexa, Fluroscopy and interventional radiology areas working cross-organisation across our sites at LGT and will work closely with operational teams and other practice & workforce development colleagues.  This role sits within the small but high impact AHP Workforce Development Team, where the successful person will provide outreach support and leadership for specific areas and teams within the radiography department. There will also be opportunity to work with other professions and services and a positive support network around this role exists. The post is responsible for a wide variety of workstreams to scope, engage and develop the abilities of our registered and non-registered Radiographers to ultimately ensure service users continue to receive safe and effective quality care.  Main duties of the job The post would suit a highly experienced radiographer with expert knowledge in General Imaging with knowledge and abilities across in education and workforce development who has a passion for improving pathways and taking responsibility for overseeing projects and programmes related to clinical, leadership, research and educational frameworks. Reporting to the AHP Workforce and Education Lead the post holder will lead on the design, development and implementation of practice development improvements across the Radiography Department to provide the highest standards of patient safety and quality. The role will provide focused input across Plain Film and associated services and therefore will have broad knowledge of how these specific services operate.
