    MULTIPLE ROLES AVAILABLE AT STAMFORD  Mondays 6.30am-3pm Mondays 4-10.30pm Sundays 11.15am-6.15pm  Rate of pay will be dependant on National Minimum Wage age bracket  Casual and regular hours available. Our centres are open 7 days per week.  Our Leisure Attendants(lifeguards) have an important role to play in the smooth operation of the leisure centre.  As a Leisure Attendant it would be your responsibility to ensure the safety of our customers whilst supervising the swimming  pool and it’s surrounds as a pool lifeguard. You will also be expected to undertake a number of other tasks around the centre such as routine checks, cleaning and assisting with the preparation of events/activities, including the assembly and dismantling of equipment. As you go about your work, you will regularly interact with customers and will do so in a warm and welcoming way. You will often be the first team member that customers report issues to, and therefore you will have a great deal of responsibility for representing LeisureSK in a professional and efficient manner; remaining calm in difficult situations, being proactive in dealing with issues yourself where possible or reporting immediately to management if not.  To undertake general lifeguard duties to the standards defined in the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification - ensuring that the poolside is never left unattended for any reason whatsoever.To be aware of general pool conditions i.e. water clarity and odour and report any issues to the Duty Manager.To monitor the number of swimmers in the pool at any one time and where numbers exceed the specified limits and/or additional lifeguards are required to advise the Duty Manager.To comply with the PSOP (Pool Safety Operating Procedure) of the centre at all times.You will be required to maintain your NPLQ by attending the required number and frequency of training sessions.To provide outstanding customer care at all times, dealing with minor problems and reporting serious issues to the Duty Manager and to provide assistance to customers wherever possible.To ensure the health and safety of customers at all times.To understand and be fully conversant with the Centre Emergencies Procedure for the building as detailed in the Health and Safety Manual.To check the safety of equipment and to report any damage or malfunction of equipment, plant or building fabric to the Duty Manager immediately after discovery.To assist in the preparation and operation of events and activities, including the assembly and dismantling of equipment and minor repairs when required.To ensure all cleaning duties are carried out as prescribed by the Duty Manager and to maintain storage areas in a clean and tidy condition.To ensure that lost property is handled and recorded in line with company procedures.To assist in the opening and/or closing of the centre each day.To complete from time-to-time other tasks as requested by the management team.Please complete ALL questions before submitting your application. The lesson programmes are important from both a community engagement perspective and also for the contribution to the financial viability of the centres enabling us to offer support to other programming activities.  It will be your responsibility to support the wider teaching team to plan and deliver fun, engaging and educational lessons following our scheme of work and guidance from relevant National Governing Bodies. This support will include assisting pupils from the water at lower stages. The Assistant Swimming Teacher role is a developmental position and as part of this post holders will be supported to develop towards achieving their Swim England level 1 and level 2 Teaching Qualifications and the NRASTC rescue qualification. Further into their development Assistant Teachers will be expected to deliver crash courses (with support) and progress on to cover existing classes.  You will also help with routine checks, housekeeping standards and customer safety, especially the class members in your charge during lessons.  As you go about your work, you will regularly interact with customers and will do so in a warm and welcoming way.
