Main duties of the job The Nursing Associate apprenticeship role sits alongside our existing nursing care support workers, registered nurses, Allied Health Professionals and medical colleagues to deliver hands-on care for service users. Whilst a role in its own right, once qualified, the nursing associate role is a gateway to becoming a registered Nurse via an additional apprenticeship.You must have the following qualifications before applying and will not be shortlisted if you do not evidence these in your application:A health related NVQ or equivalent at minimum level 2 AND level 2 functional skills (Maths & English).During the programme you will be employed as a Band 3 within a clinical team.
