As a Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, you will:
Lead and provide professional guidance to a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Work autonomously to assess and address communication impacts on daily life. Collaborate with patients and their social networks to overcome communication barriers. Develop management plans and rehabilitation strategies, seeking specialist assessments when needed. The ideal candidate for the Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist role will have:
A degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the HCPC. Achieved Dysphagia Competencies. Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in acquired brain injury. Ability to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload. At least 4 years of qualified experience, including complex case management.
