This role offers the opportunity to work directly within a vibrant secondary academy, building trusted relationships with staff and leaders on a daily basis. At the same time, you will be professionally supported and coached by the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust Central HR Team, giving you access to wider expertise, guidance and development opportunities.
Your work will directly support recruitment, safeguarding, employee records, training and day-to-day HR processes – helping to ensure colleagues feel supported and that statutory requirements are met.

About the role
You will support the full employee lifecycle, including:End-to-end recruitment and onboardingProducing contracts and managing employee recordsMaintaining the Single Central Record and safer recruitment complianceAbsence monitoring and appraisal trackingCoordinating inductions and training recordsProviding day-to-day HR guidance to staff and leadersSupporting employee relations processes alongside the Central HR TeamYou will also contribute to improving HR systems and processes and work closely with senior leaders, governors, external agencies and Trust colleagues.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone who:Has excellent organisational and communication skillsDemonstrates strong attention to detail and confidentialityIs confident using Microsoft Office and HR systemsCan work independently and as part of a teamHas experience handling confidential informationIs committed to learning and professional development (CIPD Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards)Previous HR experience and/or experience in an education setting would be advantageous.
