    The Head of Infrastructure is responsible for leading, modernising, & operating the global IT operations infrastructure estate across Law Business Research & ALM. This includes the design, delivery, stability, scalability, & performance of all on-premise, cloud, & end-user technologies delivering IT Operations services for the internal business while supporting the Product & Tech team responsible for external infrastructure services.

    This senior role ensures secure, reliable, & cost-effective infrastructure services, supporting the business’s rapid global growth, post-merger integration, & private equity transformation objectives. The Head of Infrastructure oversees IT Operations engineering teams, third-party vendors, & offshore partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality service globally.

    The role will maintain end-to-end accountability for infrastructure platforms, service management, asset lifecycle, networking, identity, collaboration tools, & operational excellence—acting as a key leader within the IT Operations organisation.
    Key Responsibilities
    Strategic Infrastructure Leadership Own & deliver the global infrastructure strategy aligned to the IT Operating Model & wider business direction. Design, implement, & evolve the Target Operating Model for infrastructure across onshore, nearshore, & offshore teams. Translate business objectives into robust, scalable technical solutions that enable global growth. Support IT Operations Director with M&A, integration, consolidation, & infrastructure transformation initiatives. Infrastructure Operations Ownership Lead global infrastructure operations across cloud, data centre, networks, end-user computing, identity, & core business systems. Ensure high availability, performance, & resilience of all critical systems & services. Own capacity planning, monitoring, patching, upgrades, & lifecycle management of all infrastructure assets. Develop & enforce operational processes (incident, problem, change, release, asset management). Cloud, Network & Platform Management Oversee Azure, Microsoft 365, Nutanix, physical/virtual servers, storage, AD/Azure AD, & networking infrastructure. Ensure secure configuration & ongoing optimisation of identity services, firewalls, VPN, WAN/LAN, DNS, & perimeter technologies. Drive cloud-first modernisation & rationalisation of legacy infrastructure following acquisition. Ensure enterprise-grade administration of collaboration tools, endpoint management, & mobility services. Vendor, Supplier & Offshore Partner Management Manage global IT suppliers, MSPs, cloud providers, & infrastructure vendors. Ensure service-level performance meets or exceeds contractual expectations. Lead cost optimisation, procurement, & vendor governance. Oversee offshore technical teams, ensuring quality, consistency, & alignment with UK/US operations. Service Management & Operational Excellence Own the ticketing system processes & ensure effective triage, prioritisation, & escalation management. Drive continual improvement across incident, problem, & service delivery. Establish & track operational KPIs, SLAs, & performance metrics. Deliver outstanding support through efficient team workflows. Business Continuity, Resilience & Disaster Recovery Own technical DR planning, testing, & readiness for all IT Operations services. Contribute to enterprise BCP planning as required by IT Operations Director. Implement resilience patterns such as failover, high availability, & redundancy across platforms. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, & develop the IT Operations Infrastructure engineering team. Ensure capability development, succession plans, & skills uplift. Foster a strong service culture, operational discipline, & collaborative working. Budget & Cost Management Track & forecast spend, track costs, & drive optimisation based on consumption
    Skills Knowledge and Expertise
    Experience 7–10+ years in infrastructure leadership roles at head of level Experience in fast-paced, scaling organisations—ideally PE-backed or acquisitive environments. Strong background in cloud, networking, identity, & enterprise infrastructure. Proven success in leading global teams. Demonstrable experience navigating platform consolidation, migration, & infrastructure modernisation. Technical Knowledge Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune/Endpoint Manager AD / Azure AD, identity management, access governance Networking: Meraki, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, WAN/LAN, SD-WAN Server, storage, virtualisation (Nutanix/Hyper-V) Monitoring, configuration management, automation, & scripting ITIL frameworks & service management best practices Soft Skills Strong communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders globally.     This is more than a sales role — it’s about multithreading across stakeholders, building lasting relationships, and owning the customer journey from first pitch to onboarding and expansion.     Key Responsibilities
    Own the Enterprise Sales Cycle: Lead strategic sales efforts for Lexology PRO, targeting new logos and expanding within existing accounts.  Multithread Across Stakeholders: Engage with legal ops, innovation, procurement, and leadership to build consensus and close complex deals.  Drive Strategic Growth: Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and ensure clients realize full value from Lexology PRO.  Support Onboarding & Expansion: Partner with clients post-sale to ensure successful onboarding and drive account growth in year one.  Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our API Sales Director, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver seamless enterprise solutions.  Mentor & Influence: Guide junior team members and contribute to global sales strategy through your expertise and leadership.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Develop strong relationships with existing customers monitoring their purchases to provide

Help mature the internal communications function by introducing policies, governance, and best practices.
