    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Installing and Commissioning products
    • Carry out mechanical fixing and electrical wiring under guidance.
    • Finding workarounds/solutions to daily issues whilst on site
    • Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues.
    • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
    • Support the continuous development of the Quality Management System adopting improvements to continuously improve the customers experience
    • To ensure PPE is adequate for the H&S purpose and arrange for new kit to be ordered when required.
    • Undertake product training on all company systems

    You must be flexible and willing to work at various locations and at height, there will be a requirement to work some weekends and out of hours, you will be required to stay away overnight on occasions (accommodation provided).



    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Basic experience in installation, construction, electrical or mechanical work
    • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical principles
    • CSCS card
    • Hold a Driving License

    Salary:

    • £28,000 - £30,000 (Basic)
    • OTE - £50,000

    Key Responsibilities
    Program, set, and operate CNC sliding head machines
    Write and edit CNC programs using Fanuc controls
    Carry out part inspection using standard measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
    Ensure components are produced to tight tolerances and quality standards
    Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting
    Collaborate with the team and assist in training less experienced staff
    Maintain a clean and safe working environment


    Essential Skills & Experience:
    Extensive experience with CNC sliding head lathes (Star or similar)
    Proficient in programming and editing using Fanuc controls
    Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
    Skilled in using precision measuring instruments
    Strong attention to detail and quality-driven
    Willingness to share knowledge and mentor junior staff
