    The Role
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Sliding Head Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC sliding head lathes.


    Key Responsibilities
    Program, set, and operate CNC sliding head machines
    Write and edit CNC programs using Fanuc controls
    Carry out part inspection using standard measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
    Ensure components are produced to tight tolerances and quality standards
    Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting
    Collaborate with the team and assist in training less experienced staff
    Maintain a clean and safe working environment


    Essential Skills & Experience:
    Extensive experience with CNC sliding head lathes (Star or similar)
    Proficient in programming and editing using Fanuc controls
    Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
    Skilled in using precision measuring instruments
    Strong attention to detail and quality-driven
    Willingness to share knowledge and mentor junior staff

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carry out all activities within your role to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Support the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly line/equipment, maintenance, equipment/software troubleshooting, and debugging of new and existing production assembly programs. If you can programme or would like to learn, please let me know!

    • Conduct inspections, corrective and preventive actions, and other quality assurance-related tasks to ensure that the SMT line produces high-quality products.

    Experience/Skills Desired:

    • Working knowledge of SMT lets talk about your skills.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Good standard of education.
    • Not colour blind.
    • PC literate.

    Working hours:

    • Monday to Wednesday: 06:0016:00
    • Thursday: 06:00-15:30

    Business Management System:
