About the Role:
We are seeking a HGV Waste Water Operative to join our team on our United Utilities workstream.
Location: Bamber Bridge, PrestonHours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. Overtime is available as per business needsSalary: Up to £35,516Weekly pay
Responsibilities - but not limited to:
You will be working closely with a Waste water Operative to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescalesInspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jettingOperate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposesEnsuring safety issues are reported in line with company proceduresPerform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Requirements for the role:
HGV Class 2 licence (required)Drivers licence is mandatory with no more than 6 penalty points
Desirable:
Experience with working on a RecyclerExperience of high-pressure water jetting is essentialCompetent in IT, accurate data entryTeam playerPositive, can-do attitude
Full training will be given in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces.
