Responsibilities: To actively review and manage supplier relationships, supporting end-to-end buying process To continually investigate and propose new product opportunities within the relevant branded market to ensure sales are optimised and brand portfolio is continuously reviewed. To deliver the intake margin target set seasonally. To manage a comprehensive and accurate delivery schedule, that meets and supports the needs of the business and where appropriate deal with any late deliveries either by cancellation or achieving suitable discounts. To develop customer and market-focused own brand product collections, keeping a keen eye on the market, competition, current and forthcoming fashion trends. The product collections should be in-line with Company strategy for the brand. To constantly review competition to ensure our product proposition is in line with the market across all key areas: fashion trend, price, quality and availability. The role will take the ownership to lead, coach and build Client relationships. You will be responsible to motivate your teams to ensure sales are excelled whilst ensuring customer experience is at the highest level of service. SALES Deliver budgeted sales. Create a customer centric culture by constantly reviewing our service proposition to exceed customer’s expectations as we strive to be the market leaders. To invest time to review your brand performance to enhance your commercial decisions. Contribute towards the development of the department in line with consumer demands and business opportunity. Train, coach and develop the team to forge new relationships with clients and maintain/develop existing ones. Establish a client focus mind-set in store to ensure the highest level of Client experience is met. To oversee the team to ensure that client relationships are being maintain and Client books are being managed. PEOPLE Recruit new team members in conjunction with GM, following Kurt Geiger Recruitment policy. Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Company and Host Store and ensure these are communicated effectively and understood and followed by employees. Invest time in the development of your team so that they can perform to their best ability. Have positive relationships with co-workers and Group General Manager. Create a positive and togetherness across all areas of the floor by championing this daily. Communicate KPIs and manage on an on-going basis, through performance review and demonstrate effective leadership. OPERATIONS Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Company and Host Store and ensure these are communicated effectively and understood and followed by employees. Take ownership of the daily hygiene ceremony and that it is being carried out. Ensure the opening and closing standards are completed daily. A full understanding of the operations and back of house standards (including stock room). KPIs Meet sales in line with Company target. Beyond managing our own brands and stand-alone stores, our retail partners include some of the world's most famous department stores. This Assistant Merchandiser role sits within our External Brands team, managing products from amazing brands and sold within the shoe departments of our Luxury partner stores. Responsibilities: Identify trading actions from analysis of stock and sales data Own forward forecast for continuity lines proposing re-orders and stock management actions where required Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, through regular meetings and contact Work closely with brands to place in season repeats and to address slower turning stock Manage flow of intake into the warehouse liaising with Buying, Distribution and Brand contacts. Likewise, manage returns of slow moving stock back to our warehouse and ultimately to Brand partners Identify, model and propose promotional activity to the Merchandiser for approval. Own mid-season trading review, presenting key learnings by Brand/Price-point/Category/Location to inform Buying strategy for future season.
