/strong /p p br /p p We are seeking a technically excellent, strategically minded, insightful, and proactive Knowledge Lawyer to join our growing business. /p p br /p p With specific responsibility for supporting and strengthening our national real estate service line (which is one of the largest regional-based groups of real estate professionals in the country), this is a key strategic and operational role that helps shape the quality, consistency, and efficiency of legal services delivery across the national business. /p p br /p p strong What you’ll be doing /strong /p p br /p p The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and embedding best-in-class legal know-how, supporting legal training, and enabling our Client Services colleagues to work more efficiently, consistently, and collaboratively. /p p br /p p You will lead on knowledge strategy, identify training and development requirements, manage internal precedents, and provide real-time legal insight. /p p br /p p Working closely with Client Services colleagues, Business Services colleagues, and legal technology partners, you will help embed best practice, identify upskilling opportunities, and build resources that ensure excellence in client outcomes – focused at all times on the business outcome of premium professional services delivery through speed of response, access to support, and high-quality, timely, effective communication. /p p br /p p You will also support external thought leadership, co-deliver seminars to clients, maintain professional memberships, oversee the onboarding of new colleagues, manage our library resources, and lead knowledge and process engagement. /p p br /p p strong You’ll be responsible for: /strong /p p br /p ul li strong Legal and market insight: /strong Tracking and interpreting legislative changes and market developments, ensuring colleagues remain well-informed and future-focused. /li li strong Precedent management: /strong Developing, maintaining, and enhancing internal templates, guides, drafting notes and checklists to support high-quality, consistent delivery. /li li strong Library resource management: /strong Overseeing, and maintaining access to, legal reference materials, databases, and journals relevant to real estate, ensuring colleagues can locate and use key texts efficiently, and managing subscriptions or licensing as required. /li li strong Professional development and upskilling: /strong Identifying skills gaps and delivering training, workshops, and legal briefings to meet current and future needs, collaborating with Learning Development as needed. /li li strong Onboarding: /strong Managing, maintaining, and developing the real estate onboarding programme to embed legal, procedural and cultural expectations for new colleagues. /li li strong Compliance and audit: /strong Conducting regular file audits to ensure client work complies with operational standards, branding, process requirements, and house style. /li li strong Client insight and development: /strong Working with Business Services colleagues to identify themes, co-create client seminar content, and help deliver sessions that showcase our expertise and market understanding. /li li strong Knowledge infrastructure: /strong Supporting the development and application of systems that make legal knowledge easy to access, reuse, and build upon, and collaborating with the executive board to refine knowledge delivery. /li li strong Professional memberships: /strong Supporting the maintenance and value extraction from industry memberships, forums and networks. /li li strong Cross-location leadership: /strong Acting as a trusted and visible leader and ambassador for Knowledge across your region, and leading the real estate knowledge function nationally by unifying and guiding professionals across our business to embed consistent legal, procedural and service standards. /li li strong Collaboration and support: /strong Acting as a strategic resource to leadership, advising on risks, trends, and opportunities to improve service and operations. /li li strong Client Services support: /strong Ensuring that our capability on the website and Hub (intranet), service line collateral, and colleagues’ profiles are complete, up-to-date, and maintained, alongside working closely with colleagues to provide details of our real estate sector expertise and capability for pitches and tenders, and maintaining our library of client testimonials. /li li strong Digital architecture: /strong Maintaining, and regularly updating, the real estate community page on our intranet (The Hub), alongside relevant sections of our website, to ensure content is current, engaging, and aligned with brand and communication
