They will also have a passion for developing teaching and learning. In particular, we are seeking an individual who will: Rapidly raise standards and achievement through the strategic leadership of Art, consistently delivering outcomes that are above the national average for all students; Work with the Senior Leader to continue to drive up the standard of teaching and learning so the Art department becomes flagship department leading the way in ensuring Kingswood Academy becomes a beacon of educational excellence; Inspire imaginative and effective approaches to teaching and learning of Art; which consistently drive up progress and attainment standards; Play a role in terms of supporting the development of teaching and learning across the Academy; Support and improve other teachers to rapidly improve their effectiveness through modelling excellent practice, professional mentoring and robust line management/holding to account; Through: mentoring, coaching, IRIS Triads, use of ICT and the implementation of T&L research ensure all T&L in Art is outstanding; Consistently teach high quality lessons which deliver excellent outcomes for all students. Candidates must be able to teach across the ability and age range, supporting the development of Art to the highest standards for all pupils at Key Stages 3 and 4.
