    Job Description
    This is a remote position. Key Purpose of the Job:

    The Project Manager will support the delivery of Integrated Electronic Security System installation projects from initiation to completion. Projects will vary in size and complexity, and you will be responsible for bringing projects to closure within the specified time scales and within budget. You will ensure all site activities are carried out safely and to relevant quality standards, oversee the timely procurement and delivery of equipment and manage both internal and sub-contract resources. You will be expected to build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that all objectives and expectations are fulfilled.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage the successful implementation and delivery of the project to client requirements.
    • Provide daily, weekly and monthly progress reports to Client Stakeholders and Senior Leadership Teams during the duration of the project.
    • Monitor contractual and financial aspects of all projects allocated.
    • Provide supervision of the specialist/subcontractor and commissioning teams to ensure all site-based activities and installations are progressed in line with agreed programme of works and within applicable industry standards.
    • Develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and collaborative partners representing the client's or organisation's interests.
    • Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and Sales team to review projects, record, monitor and advise of any defects and specification deviations.
    • Ensure all company processes are followed during the execution of the project.
    • Planning and scheduling of resources and equipment requirements for jobs – Ensuring jobs are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Monitor and record the health and safety of staff and sub-contractors. Conduct regular safety and quality audits.
    • Accurately forecast revenue and margins on all allocated projects.
    • Support staff internally and follow escalation lines for resolving conflicts or issues.
    • Manage the preparation and submission of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Assessments.
    • Carry out regular toolbox talks on all allocated projects.
    • Document client dependencies/assumptions, risk and opportunities, issues and lessons learned.
    • Any other reasonable request from management.


    RequirementsEssential requirements for the job:
     
    Experience in the design, installation, commissioning, or servicing of commercial and Enterprise security systems, PIDS, intercom systems, MS systems and integrated platforms
    Health and safety management and CDM awareness
    Working practise of NEC3/JCT contracts and dependencies
    Experience of managing multiple projects within the Fire and Security industry.
    Contract negotiation and resolution
    Customer liaison at all levels
     
    Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications
    Strong MS Excel, Word and Publisher Skills
    Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
    Management and leadership skills
    Ability to develop strategies and organise tasks
    Critical planning expertise and Microsoft project experience
    Commercial awareness
    Experienced in contractual negotiation, contractual entitlement, and compensation event management
    Numerically biased with an exceptional eye for detail
    Team working skills, and an ability to motivate people
    Complete Subcontract auditing
    Controlling labour, materials, and staff to maximise efficiency
    Accurate forecasting and monthly contract reviews
    Cost to complete forecasting
     
    Desirable Requirements for the job:
     
    ·       Project Management qualification such as APM or Prince2.
    ·       An understanding of relevant product standards and legislation
    ·       Experience in underwriting and reviewing system designs

    To organise and manage teams of service engineers’ daily diaries. To provide efficient planning of corrective, preventative and project works.
    Key Job Responsibilities:
    Efficiently managing service engineer’s daily diaries
    Monitor and report engineer PDA utilization
    Monitor Awaiting parts, Parts in and Further action queues.
    Request parts as required and arrange re-attendance of further action calls
    Arranging new ETA with customer if joint meet fails
    Liaising with engineers to ensure deadlines are kept
    Chase part codes with REM or Supervisors
    Order plant hire where applicable
    Taking calls and booking maintenances and corrective calls, along with any other business enquiries

    Meeting KPI’s, SLA’s and daily targets.
    Ensure all work is produced in a timely manner, well presented and error free
    Answer the telephone and taking messages where appropriate
    To assist in the development and maintenance of effective administrative procedures and systems appropriate to the needs of the service department
    Ensure line manager and REM are made aware of developments, problems and other issues affecting the performance of service department
    Cover Scheduling administration duties as required
    Any other reasonable requests from Management


    RequirementsEssential requirements for the job:
    Excellent administration skills
    Excellent co-ordination skills and highly organised.
    Highly skilled in the use of all office IT packages (Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint/ Email and Internet)
    Proven track record of good organisational skills (including time management, prioritising)
    Ability to work under pressure
    Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
    Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
    Be a good team player, willing to provide cover and support where necessary.
