    Be responsible for the whole patient recruitment process from selection to screening and from randomisation to the scheduling of study visits. Co-ordinating pre-study tests, obtaining results and arranging appropriate appointments according to the Schedule of Events in the study protocols.
    Ensure patients are fully informed prior to entry into the clinical research programme and play a key role in eliciting informed consent to participate. To provide ongoing advice and information to patients with regards to their participation in clinical research in order to facilitate effective informed consent.
    Implement and adhere to the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ensure that the trial is conducted according to the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Amended Regulations 2006 where appropriate.
    Coordinate the collection of any biological samples required as part of the clinical trial and ensure safe and appropriate storage of specimens. Monitoring and recording daily freezer and fridge temperatures and reporting any temperature excursions to the Lead Research Nurse.
    Liaise with Research nurse colleagues to administer the medications. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the legal requirements of the individual Trust’s clinical trial pharmacovigilance and pharmacovigilance policies.

It provides transthoracic, TOE, 3D, DSE and stress exercise echo and contrast studies for all specialties in the Trust. Clinical Physiology BSc degree combined with appropriate technical training and Echocardiography accreditation (BSE, EACVI or equivalent) are mandatory for this position. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate competence and expertise in the full range of advanced echocardiography techniques (TOE, Stress echo, 3D and contrast echo). We currently offer some physiologist-led services such as valve clinic, contrast and bubble, exercise echo, and valve stress echocardiography.  Main duties of the job Act as a specialist Echocardiographer within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with principal physiologists, clinical lead echo consultants, administrative teams, procurement, ward staff, porters, support staff, and junior members to ensure high-quality patient care. Perform diagnostic echocardiography, utilizing advanced techniques like 4D and GLS to create clinically comprehensive reports following BSE guidelines and local protocols. Stay updated with current guidelines to maintain technical proficiency in echo and related skills. We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our dedicated, dynamic and growing multidisciplinary team. The post is suitable for HCPC accredited Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with a proven track record in the provision of clinical supervision in the field of sexual trauma and experience in line managing members of staff.
