A warm and welcoming family based in Belfast is seeking an experienced and qualified nanny to care for their one year old daughter from May 2026. This is a live out position offering sole charge, although one parent will mostly be working from home. The family value peace, honesty, kindness and a calm environment, and are looking for someone who will naturally complement this ethos.
The role will involve all nursery duties including preparing meals, feeding, bathing, settling for naps and bedtime, planning age appropriate activities, daily walks, play, and maintaining a tidy and organised space for the child. The little girl enjoys structure and routine and loves nursery rhymes, so a nanny who is happy to sing and engage creatively would be very welcome.
The schedule runs Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm, with an overnight stay on Friday until 1pm on Saturday. The position totals approximately 51.5 hours per week, plus a flat overnight rate at £50. The family are offering a total of £822.50 per week.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years’ experience working with young children, particularly around one year of age. They should be warm, attentive, responsible and trustworthy, with a genuine love for their profession. Strong communication skills and the ability to listen carefully to parental preferences are essential. English is required and Russian would be an advantage but is not essential. Driving is not required for the role itself, though it may be helpful for personal mobility.

Requirements-Strong ability to create a nurturing, safe, happy environment
    -Excellent communication and organisational skills
-Punctual, reliable, and legally able to work in the UK
Current valid Enhanced DBS - on the DBS update service
    Current Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in UK & already living within a 45 min commute
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
Demonstrate longevity in previous similar nanny roles (2 to 5 years in nanny jobs)
Able to run after small children
Used to shared and sole charge
    Baby experience.
Be able to engage in play at floor level for extended periods of time and get up from the floor quickly.
Please note this is a strictly Non smoking position.
    Discretion and privacy is essential

    Job Description
Kind and easy going young European family looking for a warm, nurturing, experienced nanny to work with their family for 3 or 2 days over the weekend (Sat & Sun and maybe Friday). They have a full time nanny during the week.

They are looking for a nanny-houskeeper / family assistant, someone who is able to work alongside the parents, in team work and help out with children, activities, cooking, putting a wash on etc.

They are looking for a nanny who fits well with them and will stay with them for years - their current nanny has been happily with them for 3 years.

The family would like nanny to travel with them to the countryside one weekend per month and accompany them when they travel overseas.
Nanny should be gentle, caring and patient. Never speaking roughly nor treating the children roughly.
    The family has a cleaner.
Mum is on maternity leave but returning to work very soon.

    Location: Kensington, W8
This is a European family settled long term in the UK.
Children: 4 years old, 2 years old and baby born (Oct 2025)

    Starting: asap
Salary: £25 or £26 gross per hour.
    Nanny/Housekeeper:
    Settled Status or UK passport
English speaking. & Spanish would also be nice to have
    Nanny and light housekeeping
Weekends, parents are around, so it is a muck in and everyone helps. Parents value weekend help as they both work full time during the week. Parents are both super lovely, caring and down to earth.
All typical duties related to the children, both at home and outside. Following their routine, picking them up from school, and taking them to and from activities or play dates depending on the work schedule. Tidying rooms, laundry, engaging in play and supporting their growth etc.
All light housekeeping duties. Apart from taking care of the children, they have experience doing light housekeeping: cooking for the family or kids, keeping the house tidy, ironing or vacuuming, doing laundry if necessary, and cleaning the bathrooms, wiping dust, etc. We’ll need help around the house because the children don’t occupy all of the working hours, but the main cleaning is done by a cleaner. It’s a matter of mindset and willingness to help with other tasks, rather than the main function. It would otherwise become complicated when we travel or during weekends, since at those times we spend more time with the children ourselves. Flexibility is important to us. We understand it works both ways.
    Travelling
    Babysitting
    Saturday 8am-7pm
    Sunday 8am-7pm
Friday or Monday 8am-7pm  (Fridays might not be needed)
    Extras:
Be flexible to travel internationally if possible. Extra rate per night
Travelling to countryside one weekend a month (Uk). Extra rate per night (£100)
Staying overnight on special occasions. Extra rate per night (£100)

    - London

    Job Description
We are delighted to offer a wonderful long-term opportunity for a kind, warm and capable nanny to join a lovely family based in Notting Hill.
This is a genuinely super family who already employ one of our weekend nannies, and the relationship has been extremely positive on both sides. They are now seeking a new nanny to work Monday to Thursday, 12.00pm to 7.30pm, replacing a much-loved nanny who has been with them for several years and is leaving due to a change in personal circumstances.
You will be caring for the family’s three very sweet daughters, aged between 4 and 6 years old. The family is keen to find a nanny who will become a long-term part of their lives and ideally stay with them for many years.
The family is flexible on the start date and can accommodate either an ASAP start or a September start. During school holidays there will be periods when the family is away, and they are also understanding if you already have holidays booked. This role is very much intended as a long-term position.
The parents feel extremely fortunate to have had such wonderful nannies previously and are genuinely looking for the next very special nanny to join their family.
The ideal nanny will have a positive, can-do attitude and be someone who truly enjoys caring for and nurturing young children. You should be confident organising fun, creative and engaging activities, both indoors and outdoors, and be happy taking the children out in all weathers. Someone who is organised, proactive and naturally tidy will thrive in this role. This position would not suit someone who is a clock-watcher, frequently late or disorganised.
The role is a mix of sole charge and shared care. Dad works full-time, while mum is a freelancer and may sometimes be out of the house for long days, and at other times working from home. Mum is very easy to work with and enjoys collaborating with the nanny when she is around. It is essential that you are fully comfortable with both sole charge and shared care arrangements.
Occasional babysitting will be required, and at times you may be asked to proxy parent if both parents are away overnight. The attractive salary reflects this responsibility. There is also plenty of downtime during the mornings while the children are at school and nursery.
The family places strong value on play-based learning and would love a nanny who shares this philosophy and has a genuine interest in early childhood development.
Occasional travel may be requested during holidays, typically to Sweden, America, France or Switzerland.
Duties include all standard nanny responsibilities such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, age-appropriate play and activities, tidying as you go, and occasional children’s laundry if required.
In the family’s words, they are looking for:
“Someone positive, energetic and organised, who is firm but loving. Someone who will take the girls outside no matter the weather, has fun activities up their sleeve, stays on top of clothes, packing, meals and routines, and tidies as they go. Someone who is easy to be around as part of the family, and who could ideally proxy parent if my husband and I are away for a night or two.”
This is a truly lovely opportunity for an experienced nanny seeking a warm, respectful family and a long-term role in a beautiful setting.
