    As a KFS Account Manager you will be the link between our valued customers and our team of forensic scientists supporting criminal investigations.
    As the old cliché goes, no two days are the same. The role is interesting, demanding and rewarding in equal measure. One day you could be meeting with a toxicologist, biologist, chemist or drugs expert to resolve a query, on another day you could be conducting a review meeting with one of our customers or preparing a management information report.
    The right person may not have an account management background. However, demonstrable transferable skills akin to account management and experience of working within the the CJS or Law Enforcement are essential.
    This is not a sales job, the successful candidate will be one who is committed, demonstrates integrity, resilience, has a genuine interest in forensic science, thrives in a close-knit team environment and cares about the job they do.
    The Account Manager will manage the day-to-day customer relationship, acting as a primary point of contact to resolve customer and internal queries, including the production of management information.
    Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Account Manager will:Manage the day-to-day relationship with existing accounts enhancing relationships with key customer contactsAdhere to contractual requirements such as Performance Monitoring Systems to include reporting of defined KPI’s and Management Information.Advocate of quality and proactively support the quality management process.Attend and present at external customer and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business developmentEnsure there is a high level of customer awareness of Key Forensics’ services & product portfolioWhere requested, undertake specific projects and report findingsAdhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment

    To provide a comprehensive administration and operational support to CSD and the wider KFS team. To provide first point of contact to all customers and support resolution.
    This is a broad customer focused role, providing a highly professional and exceptional service to customers both internally and externally. The tasks associated with this role are wide ranging including forensic exhibit handling, booking submissions onto a bespoke IT System and returning submissions to the senders. Officers are required to be required to be flexible and demonstrate effective teamwork in achieving the day-to-day work objectives of the department.
    Processing of PACE DNA samples, by generating the relevant documentation, adding sample barcodes to the Casework Management System and booking in of samples, by checking them against documentation generated.To support the DNA team in the administration and destruction of PACE DNA samples. Including but not limited to; booking in, NDNAD load control, CPIA retention, sample destruction.Support the CSD Team Leader in providing a day-to-day CSD administrative service to the Heads of Departments and their teams.To work to and comply with the Quality Management System for the receipt and storage of exhibits, ensuring integrity and chain of custody is maintained throughout the case life.To coordinate efficient exhibit management processes, including booking in, storage and return of submissions to customers to support the productivity within operations to achieve turn-around times and adhere to protocols.Communicating with customers where there are discrepancies and taking the relevant action in accordance with quality procedures.Raise cases onto a bespoke Casework Management System and allocate the cases to the appropriate scientific discipline.To respond to customer queries via telephone or email and follow departmental procedures with a high level of accuracy, in what is a strictly regulated environment.To meet, greet and register all laboratory visitors in adherence with KFS security policy and guidelinesTo support an array of administration tasks such as filing, ordering, data inputting as required within an exceptionally busy environment.
