KCHFT is keen to support development and therefore, candidates without the specialist District Nurse qualification or having a recognised advanced clinical skills/module will be considered for trainee posts. Using the named nurse model, we want to allow nurses to spend more time with patients, promoting self-management where possible, and improving patient lives. You'll need to have a full UK driving licence and drive your own car, but don't worry – you can claim mileage costs and access the NHS car lease provision after your probationary period.
