OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a local reputable supermarket. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for both employees and clients. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
Duties
Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly
Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team
Assist with special cleaning projects as required
Requirements
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management
Hours of work
Part time – 21 hours per week
Monday to Sunday, 06:00-08:00
