RF Electrical Design Engineer required for a leading Manufacturer & Supply company based in Yorkshire area. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, privately owned company. Must have at least 5yrs relevant experience in the following:
* Design and Analysis – RF electronics
* Simulated tools such as ADS
* RF design and EDA tools (easy PC)
~Successful candidates will have extensive experience in board-level and system-level RF electronics design.
~You will be responsible for RF system and hardware designs from initial concept through requirements definition, architecture definition, part selection, detailed design, analysis, qualification testing, manufacturing and in life support.
~Hardware design tasks will include block diagrams, detailed schematics, PCB layout and routing, simulations and design test on Receivers, Transmitters, Synthesizers, VCOs, low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, filters and frequency conversion.
~Proven practical RF design at component level and testing of RF circuits across a wide frequency range 5MHz to in RF fundamentals. Impedance matching, passive RLC, filter design, linearity, harmonics, noise figure analysis etc.
~Proficient in professional simulation tools such as ADS or similar, as well as EDA tools such as EasyPC/PADS or similar.
~Extensive hands-on experience with test instruments such as VNAs, spectrum analysers, signal generators and oscilloscopes, power meters and signal generators.
Proven experience of design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of baseband, IF, and RF circuits
Working week Monday to Thursday – and Friday till hrs per week
