    About your new HGV Technician roleYou will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of vehicles and trailers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to competition.You will provide technical work to the highest standards in line with strict health and safety requirements.You will also be required to undertake pre-MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.General HGV Technician duties 
    The successful HGV Technician will require:You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV, trailers, and light commercial vehiclesHold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)You will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 as an HGV Technician)You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.

    About the Role – Powered Access Engineer As a Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for major repairs, refurbishments and full machine overhauls on powered access equipment returned from hire.     Your duties will include:

    Carrying out major mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs on powered access equipment

    Completing full strip-downs, rebuilds and refurbishments of access platforms

    Diagnosing complex faults and implementing long-term repair solutions

    Conducting PDI inspections following major repairs

    Completing LOLER inspections and ensuring equipment meets safety standards

    Working collaboratively with the engineering team to prioritise workshop repairs

    What You’ll Need to Succeed as a Powered Access EngineerPrevious experience within the Powered Access industry
