    Job description Main purpose of the role We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our Yorkshire West region, based from our regional office in Leeds. As our construction Engineer, you will provide lean but robust engineering strategies as part of an established, successful land and development team. The role will be working primarily with the land team to de-risk bids and support the due diligence process for land acquisition approval. This would include technical reporting and providing strategies for drainage, cut & fill, retaining walls, foundations, and utilities. Support with groundworks estimating and procurement would also be provided. This would then follow through to supporting planning applications with the necessary technical input and engineering strategy. External engineers would be utilised where necessary to add detail to the proposed strategy for checking and presentation purposes. The engineering strategy would be handed over to the technical team for the detailed design stage. The role requires the production of accurate value engineered information delivered in line with agreed programmes and budgets.
