If you're ready to make a global impact through cutting-edge projects, we want to hear from you.As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will:Lead instrumentation and control systems design for greenfield and brownfield projects in the energy transition space.Develop and review engineering deliverables including P&IDs, instrument lists, control system specifications, and automation documentation.Specify and manage DCS, PLC, and SIS systems throughout their lifecycle.Collaborate with process engineers on control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, and functional safety assessments.Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design reviews, and conduct FAT for control systems.Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, BSI, NFPA, ANSI, ASME, API).Support globally integrated delivery teams and interface with third-party systems.Expertise:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Chartered EngineerProven experience in instrumentation and control design within green energy, renewables, or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of ICSS including DCS, ESD, FGS, and instrumentation communication protocols.Familiarity with safety standards IEC 61508, IEC 61511.Proficiency in engineering and design software, and instrumentation database tools (e.g., SPI).Functional safety certification is a plusRelevant experienceKBR Company InformationWhen you become part of the KBR team, your opportunities are endless.
