We are seeking a hard-working Legal Counsel to join our dynamic and collaborative global Legal Team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide commercial transaction support and strategic guidance across Kantar’s global Media business. You will partner with our international business colleagues to further develop Kantar’s global business and commercial products while leading legal risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and negotiating commercial relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities Primary Focus: Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with both our clients and suppliers. Collaboration: Work with company leadership and business leads to understand business goals, translate legal risks into easy-to-understand concepts, and establish full alignment around legal processes and procedures that support growth while minimising risk. External Partnerships: Partner with our external legal counsel as needed. Legal Advice and Counsel: Act as a proactive legal contact for business clients across multiple regions, advising on a wide range of legal issues and providing deal support daily in various international markets. Drafting and Negotiating: Negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements with global and regional suppliers and clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in each jurisdiction. Global Collaboration: Work directly with colleagues across Kantar’s global operations to analyse legal risks, devise creative solutions, and develop strong, trusted advisor relationships across diverse cultural and business environments. Issue-Spotting and Risk Management: Demonstrate a keen ability to spot sensitive legal and business concerns across various legal systems, with a strong sense of when to escalate (and not escalate) matters within global teams, balancing local and global priorities. Privacy and Data Protection: Drive cross-organisational input and company alignment on privacy and data protection terms in compliance with international regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other local laws, ensuring that Kantar’s policies are aligned with global standards.
Required 3+ years of post-qualification experience (ideally UK or common law), gained in house or private practice (ideally from a large international or UK firm/company with exposure to cross border transactions). Experience negotiating and drafting a wide variety of commercial agreements. Employment, intellectual property and/or privacy law experience. Proficiency in legal-level English, both written and spoken. Capacity to adapt to different cultures around the world. Strong project management skills, including an ability to multitask, prioritize and respond quickly within a rapidly changing environment. An uncanny ability to take convoluted legalese and translate it into plain English.

About the Project/Role Reporting to the E2E Product Director the role requires you to build a thorough understanding across our product portfolio which measures consumption of broadcast and video streaming content. You will lead a team performing product E2E testing to support delivery of our services across the world. The role is focused on management, coordination, and integration testing of deliveries from different product groups. The role combines management with practical planning and execution of tests, and subsequent data analysis. The candidate will lead, and line manage a team of 3 testers.
This will require strong leadership and excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with a wide range of people. Additionally, as the E2E Product Owner the candidate will act as a deputy to the E2E Product Director learning all aspects of our offerings and interacting with Operational, IT and local service teams, taking on tasks and responsibilities within the product areas as directed by the Product Director. This role suits a person who can lead from the front in terms of understanding our systems and verify our product deliveries. A background in a test role, business analysis or operational experience in a complex IT environment which can be applied to testing would be good grounding for this role.
The nature of the rule requiring hands on management and supervision of the testing team means this is predominantly an office-based role.
